2014 lincoln mkz hybrid review this car review is specific to this model, not the actual vehicle for sale. The completely redesigned lincoln mkz hybrid is a premium midsize hybrid-sedan showcasing the reinvention of the lincoln brand. It provides all the styling and features expected in the midsize luxury segment without any sacrifices for achieving excellent fuel economy. To link the gas engine and electric motor together, a continuously variable transmission, also known as a cvt, is used to optimally match the power and gearing. Standard features include leather heated power driver and passenger seats, 18"" alloy wheels, sync entertainment/communication system, satellite radio and dual-zone electronic climate control. Standard safety features include eight airbags with knee airbags for both the driver and passenger, traction and stability control, anti-lock brakes, led headlights and tail lights, securilock ignition disable system, and the mykey restricted driving system. Optional features include a retractable panoramic roof, thx ii audio system, lane keeping system and first-in-class inflatable outboard rear seatbelts. Here is some fascinating additional information regarding the continental mark ii brand:the continental mark ii is a personal luxury car that was produced by continental in 1956 and 1957. An attempt tobuild a post-world war ii car to rival the greatest of the pre-war era, or anything produced in europe, it isregarded as a rare and elegant classic. The new continental was not intended to be the largest or most powerfulautomobile; rather, the most luxurious and elegant american car available, designed to recapture the spirit of thegreat classics of the prewar period with prices to match. There was something of the style of the early fordthunderbird at the front, which was introduced earlier at the detroit auto show on february 20, 1954, with atasteful egg-crate grille; a long, curving hood; and straight fenders to the headlights. The fender line went backto behind the doors, at which point the line kicked up a little before curving back down to the taillights.
